We have all heard the saying that "it takes a village to raise a child". No matter what the times, that saying will always remain true. Raising children is a beautiful, but challenging journey. Caregivers always need their family and community's support to overcome them. we are now living in a time where perfection is given more importance than happiness, which is shifting our focus from enjoying every blessed moment spent with our children to "doing it right". Let's shift that focus back to where it should be when it comes to parenting. Parents are now presented with a lot more challenges and strengthening our children's characters and identities as Muslims has become ever so difficult. This will only be made easy when we genuinely try to guide one another, share ideas, and build up our spirits through positive conversations.
*Let's encourage each other to seek Allah (SWT)'s help first and foremost
*Let's not be afraid to ask for help
*Let's not be afraid to offer help
*Let's celebrate every small achievement and success together
*Let's always say encouraging and appreciative words to one another
*Let's not get stuck on how other children are growing compared to ours
*Let's create a small group of friendships where we can get genuine advice
*Let's remove the pressure to be "superwomen"
*Let's share that asking for support does not mean weakness
*Let's share that we do not need to do it alone to be called "a good mother"
*Let's bring back the power that is found through interdependence
*Let's save our joys from being overpowered by the illusions on social media
The more hands we join together, the stronger our circle!!
